Widowed sisters (widsters) Cardi Cooper and Tuney Thompson set out on a bus tour of their home state of Iowa in an attempt to cope with the recent loss of their husbands. On the bus, they meet four more widows, all as fun-loving and cheeky as they are. As they explore beautiful, historic, southeast Iowa (reader, you may find yourself longing to visit the area\u2019s American Gothic house, sunken gardens and a haunted hotel), they adventure out of their comfort zones, get into some mischief and face their emotional challenges together.
